Building a Farm

Okay, so I knew that this was going to be work. My ex-fiancee Gus told me … “and you will have a lot of work to do.” He was intuitive like me, but I didn’t realize just how much. Before I can get the sheep, I have to baby proof the fence line. How do you do that? Well you befriend the dog next door and let him show your dogs how to crawl under and over fences. Hell! If that doesn’t work just bend the squares until the whole body fits through.

To be clear, there will be sheep when the time is right. In the meantime, the clearing is a lot of work. Good, healthy fun work. I have set up a growing area too on the SW corner of the property. Will have to get mesh cover to filter the light in the summer. It will need probably 2 more years to clear the forest out, but that’s meditation. Right now I need to prepare 12 cedar stays to start fixing the fence where Lego and Himalaya Joe have been escaping.
